It's so much fun to see how our cross country team is improving! We started out the season with half the team having never run before, and every meet we just keep getting better and better! Everyone's faces as they are crossing that finish line is beautiful; so determined, so focused! Today I got first place out of the girls, second out of everyone, along with a 16 second PR (personal record), and the accomplishment of beating all three girls who beat me in a meet a few weeks ago! My time was 11 minutes, 42 seconds (11:42). We have this awesome clock that we borrow from one of the parents, and it's so exciting to see your time as you're racing through the finish line!
