It is soooo hard to find the perfect dog! We've been looking for a dog for my dad's place for awhile now, and it seems like there's always something missing. Yesterday we saw the perfect dog who was athletic and playful and sweet and well-trained, but she had Addison's Disease, and for the rest of her life it would cost $160 a month for her medication. Unfortunately, there's no way my dad can afford that. : ( So I'm praying that Athena goes to a home who can afford her and care for her, but we went to another shelter today and no one could compare. Oh well...we're keeping our eyes open!
